وَبَعْدَ ذِهَابِهِمْ خَرَجَا مِنَ الْبِئْرِ وَذَهَبَا وَأَخْبَرَا الْمَلِكَ دَاوُدَ، وَقَالاَ لِدَاوُدَ: «قُومُوا وَاعْبُرُوا سَرِيعًا الْمَاءَ، لأَنَّ هكَذَا أَشَارَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَخِيتُوفَلُ».
