These are the family records of Jacob.
At seventeen years of age, Joseph tended sheep with his brothers. The young man was working with the sons of Bilhah and Zilpah, his father’s wives, and he brought a bad report about them to their father.
Joseph H3130, when he was seventeen H7651 H6240 years H8141 of age H1121, was pasturing H7462 the flock H6629 with his brothers H251, while he was still a youth H5288, along with the sons H1121 of Bilhah H1090 and the sons H1121 of Zilpah H2153, his father’s H1 wives H802. And Joseph H3130 brought H935 back a bad H1681 H7451 report H1681 about them to their father H1.

Joseph, when he was seventeen years old, was shepherding the flock with his brothers [Dan, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher]; the boy was with the sons of Bilhah and Zilpah, his father’s [[fn]secondary] wives; and Joseph brought back a bad report about them to their father.
هذِهِ مَوَالِيدُ يَعْقُوبَ: يُوسُفُ إِذْ كَانَ ابْنَ سَبْعَ عَشَرَةَ سَنَةً، كَانَ يَرْعَى مَعَ إِخْوَتِهِ الْغَنَمَ وَهُوَ غُلاَمٌ عِنْدَ بَنِي بِلْهَةَ وَبَنِي زِلْفَةَ امْرَأَتَيْ أَبِيهِ، وَأَتَى يُوسُفُ بِنَمِيمَتِهِمِ الرَّدِيئَةِ إِلَى أَبِيهِمْ.
