فَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ لِيُوسُفَ: «حَلُمْتُ حُلْمًا وَلَيْسَ مَنْ يُعَبِّرُهُ. وَأَنَا سَمِعْتُ عَنْكَ قَوْلاً، إِنَّكَ تَسْمَعُ أَحْلاَمًا لِتُعَبِّرَهَا».

فَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ لِيُوسُفَ: «لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ حُلْماً وَلَيْسَ هُنَاكَ مَنْ يُفَسِّرُهُ، وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ عَنْكَ حَدِيثاً أَنَّكَ إِنْ سَمِعْتَ حُلْماً تَقْدِرُ أَنْ تُفَسِّرَهُ».
