NASB95 (Narrated)
declares the LORD.
“The mother of seven grew faint;
she breathed her last breath.
Her sun set while it was still day;
she was ashamed and humiliated.
The rest of them I will give over to the sword
in the presence of their enemies.”
This is the LORD’s declaration.
“She who gave H3205 birth H3205 to seven H7651 sons withers H535 away H535;
[fn]Her breathing H5315 is H5301 labored H5301.
Her sun H8121 has set H935 while it was still H5750 day H3119;
She has been shamed H954 and humiliated H2659.
So I will turn H5414 over H5414 their survivors H7611 to the sword H2719
Before H6440 their enemies H340,” declares H5002 the LORD H3068.
“She who bore H3205 seven H7651 sons languishes H535;
[fn]Her breathing H5315 is H5301 labored H5301.
Her sun H8121 has set H935 while it was yet H5750 day H3119;
She has been shamed H954 and humiliated H2659.
So I will give H5414 over their survivors H7611 to the sword H2719
Before H6440 their enemies H340,” declares H5002 Yahweh H3068.
“She who has borne seven [sons] languishes;
She has breathed out her soul.
Her sun has set while it was still day;
She has been shamed and humiliated.
So I will hand over [the rest of] the survivors to the sword
Before their enemies,” says the LORD.
