And when it was told me how that the Jews laid wait for the man, I sent straightway to thee, and gave commandment to his accusers also to say before thee what they had against him. Farewell.

ثُمَّ لَمَّا أُعْلِمْتُ بِمَكِيدَةٍ عَتِيدَةٍ أَنْ تَصِيرَ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ، أَرْسَلْتُهُ لِلْوَقْتِ إِلَيْكَ، آمِرًا الْمُشْتَكِينَ أَيْضًا أَنْ يَقُولُوا لَدَيْكَ مَا عَلَيْهِ. كُنْ مُعَافىً».

ثُمَّ تَبَيَّنَ لِي أَنَّ جَمَاعَةً مِنَ الْيَهُودِ حَاكُوا مُؤَامَرَةً لِقَتْلِهِ، فَأَرْسَلْتُهُ إِلَيْكَ بِسُرْعَةٍ، وَأَمَرْتُ الْمُدَّعِينَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يُقَدِّمُوا شَكْوَاهُمْ لَدَيْكَ».

Mas siéndome dado aviso de asechanzas que le habían aparejado los Judíos, luego al punto le he enviado á ti, intimando también á los acusadores que traten delante de ti lo que tienen contra él. Pásalo bien.
