وَإَِّلا فَكُنْتُ فَعَلْتُ بِنَفْسِي زُورًا، إِذْ لاَ يَخْفَى عَنِ الْمَلِكِ شَيْءٌ، وأَنْتَ كُنْتَ وَقَفْتَ ضِدِّي».

وَلَوْ قَتَلْتُ ابْنَهُ لَكُنْتُ قَدِ ارْتَكَبْتُ جِنَايَةً فِي حَقِّ الْمَلِكِ الَّذِي لَا تَخْفَى عَلَيْهِ خَافِيَةٌ، وَلَكُنْتَ أَنْتَ نَفْسُكَ وَقَفْتَ ضِدِّي».
