وَقَالَ الرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى: «رُدَّ عَصَا هَارُونَ إِلَى أَمَامِ الشَّهَادَةِ لأَجْلِ الْحِفْظِ، عَلاَمَةً لِبَنِي التَّمَرُّدِ، فَتَكُفَّ تَذَمُّرَاتُهُمْ عَنِّي لِكَيْ لاَ يَمُوتُوا».

وَقَالَ الرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى: «رُدَّ عَصَا هَرُونَ إِلَى أَمَامِ تَابُوتِ الْعَهْدِ وَاحْفَظْهَا لِتَكُونَ عِبْرَةً لِلْمُتَمَرِّدِينَ، فَتَكُفَّ تَذَمُّرَاتُهُمْ عَنِّي لِئَلّا يَهْلِكُوا».
