وَأَمَّا هِيرُودُسُ فَلَمَّا طَلَبَهُ وَلَمْ يَجِدْهُ فَحَصَ الْحُرَّاسَ، وَأَمَرَ أَنْ يَنْقَادُوا إِلَى الْقَتْلِ. ثُمَّ نَزَلَ مِنَ الْيَهُودِيَّةِ إِلَى قَيْصَرِيَّةَ وَأَقَامَ هُنَاكَ.
