وَلَمَّا انْتَهَوْا إِلَى بَيْدَرِ نَاخُونَ مَدَّ عُزَّةُ يَدَهُ إِلَى تَابُوتِ اللهِ وَأَمْسَكَهُ، لأَنَّ الثِّيرَانَ انْشَمَصَتْ.

وَعِنْدَمَا بَلَغُوا بَيْدَرَ نَاخُونَ تَعَثَّرَتِ الثِّيرَانُ الَّتِي تَجُرُّ الْعَرَبَةَ، فَمَدَّ عُزَّةُ يَدَهُ وَأَمْسَكَ تَابُوتَ الرَّبِّ خَوْفاً عَلَيْهِ مِنَ السُّقُوطِ.
