وَنَدَبُوا وَبَكَوْا وَصَامُوا إِلَى الْمَسَاءِ عَلَى شَاوُلَ وَعَلَى يُونَاثَانَ ابْنِهِ، وَعَلَى شَعْبِ الرَّبِّ وَعَلَى بَيْتِ إِسْرَائِيلَ لأَنَّهُمْ سَقَطُوا بِالسَّيْفِ.

وَنَدَبُوا وَنَاحُوا وَصَامُوا إِلَى الْمَسَاءِ عَلَى شَاوُلَ وَعَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي الْمَعْرَكَةِ.
